Empire Empire, the latest baby of Uberko -- probably his first release to have a sufficiently professional sound to be called a release -- is gonna be officially launched on September 30, 2005, at the Cabaret le Drague in Québec City.

With a pretty humble deployment of means of diffusion, the event has already driven the interest of many people, including some media, and we expect a very good audience. I guess the actual quality of Empire Empire deserves much of the reward for such popularity. Anyone who has not already listened to it should give it a try on http://www.uberko.com/, where 3 full songs from the LP are available for streaming.

The most interesting thing about the event, which is free, is that Uberko will offer a performance on stage with his new band, giving a completely new dimension and groove to his songs, which where recorded in solo at the Astrolab. The Uberko Band will also perform new songs they wrote together.

Moreover, the audience will be granted performances of Millimetrik and DJ Nic B, both well-known names in the local electronic music scene, and will also discover the talent of another promising DJ, Dez_One.
